Originally produced and distributed by artist Helen Reed as a series of fanfiction zines, Art Criticism & Other Short Stories collects together fifteen of the very best of these texts — from deliriously concocted alternate realities and erotic fantasies, to cutting appraisals of gender and power. Featuring writing by a diverse lineup of artists, writers, curators and critics working in and alongside contemporary art , this anthology of oddball writing shows us just how critical and gushing true fandom can be, proving once and for all that these qualities are not mutually exclusive.
