Beef trachea is a completely digestible byproduct of processing beef for human consumption. Since humans do not eat this part of the animal, it can be repurposed as a dog chew instead of being discarded. It is better for the environment, safer than rawhide and healthier than processed dog chews. 

BarknBig was founded in 2014 by Mark and Erik Johnson; a father and son team looking to provide pet parents with healthy, safe and natural dog chews. They believe that pets should be have food and treats that nourish their whole body without creating excess waste in our environment.
